- Dix was awarded a design, build and install contract by Ash Grove Cement to replace their existing 519 foot long clinker conveyor at their Seattle, Washington plant. Dix was awarded a design, build and install contract by Ash Grove Cement to replace their existing 519 foot long clinker conveyor at their Seattle, Washington plant.  The system selected to replace the existing roller conveyor was an air supported conveyor.  As the prime contractor, Dix teamed with The Hendrik Group who designed and supplied the system.  The old conveyor was removed by Dix and the new one installed during a 19 day plant outage.
