All of the equipment is to be taken down in the largest possible pieces for shipment to a new site at Fort McMurray in Alberta, Canada and will be hauled on 90 heavy haul trucks. The kilns are 14’ inside diameter, 13’6” and 11’6” and range in length from 165’ to 185’. The preheaters are 36’ in diameter and approx 120’ tall. The work requires using a Manitowoc 4100 and 4600 crane and a 45-ton hydro as a utility crane. The project has a four-month completion schedule and requires a 40 man crew working five-ten hour days per week.
