In the past two years Dix has completed several different projects for this long-time, local customer. Crane runway rail surveys were completed in buildings 2101, 2102 and 2103. Dix then repaired the girders and replaced the rail in building 2103. Dix also rebuilt soaking pits No. 8, No. 13 and No. 14. and worked on the 112" mill and pinion stand. Dix repaired the foundation for the 8" shear cylinder at the 132" mill and completed the Salem Furnace quench pump replacement.
